Booking rpr direct???

I was told by some helpful diser's that if i call universal & book direct for next year that if any offers come up after i've booked i can call & apply them to my booking.

My question now is - what if i book with universal online? can i still call & apply new offers to an exisisting booking if i book online??

I'm thinking this will be ok, but just want to be sure

Make sure you do not book with Universal vacations, as they will not let you change rates.
I always call Loews reservations, it only takes a few minutes, and they will give you any other info you might want. Then as rates change ,just call and have them applied to your reservation

well i've done it!! I checked the number Robert gave on loews site & it matched so i called it & booked
they did put me through to universal, but i asked about applying new discounts & she said i could.
so we are all set for 13th Aug 2010 for 5 fun nights
my first ever diy attempt is done!
Just hope it all goes to plan now!!! & hoping for some better deals coming along

Excellent ,well done, everything should be fine. yes they put you through to Universal booking, but learnt a few years ago , that someone booked from the Universal site, and the one they booked with was universal vacations, think they booked a B&B deal, since then i always call the Loews number.
if you are flexible with your dates , might be worth watching when Value season starts as well, this year it was 16th August, last year it was 12th August, as rates drop quite a bit then as well.
Just a Thought.
We are staying WL next year 2nd August with free DDP, although thinking of cancelling it , but holding of for the time being. planning 7 to10 days at St Petes and probably up to a week at RPR at the end , would not be at RPR same time , unless i cancel WL, but you never know.

maybe we will be in WDW the same time, will wait & see but there will be a beer with your name it
wheres the best place to keep checking for new offers/deals? (besides the dis of course )

Just to add I have booked online with Universal hotels quite a few times now and everythime I have found a cheaper rate it has been applied ok.

I have WL booked for 2nd to 16th August, so you never know.
Might need to cancel and rearrange our hol, as i had 4 weeks planned for next year. Now our cousin wants us out to California in July, had planned on Easter, but July suits them better. so i now need to arrange flights to there and thinking of going to Florida after it.
