Hi Guys! I haven't been on these boards in a very long time but knew I could come here to find my answer. Some friends of ours are going to Disney this summer and we booked a 1 bedroom for them at BWV but didn't have enough points for the entire length of their trip so they are booking the remaining 3 nights through CRO with a discount code. Does anyone know what the possibility is of the 2 reservations eventually being linked so that they do not have to switch rooms?

They should be able to do it. When we were there this past November, we rented enough points for 4 days and used our points for 4 days. They were easily able to link the reservations and we didn't have to change rooms. They were very accommodating. As soon as I mentioned that we had two separate reservations for a 1BR, they suggested linking them together to avoid switching rooms. :)

The problem with this it was still two different points reservations linked together and not a points vs. CRO reservation. MS can do this easily, but when you use a point stay and then a CRO reservsation they can not be linked because it is two different systems.

They can not link the reservation due to the reason mention above. When they check-in the could ask the front desk if the can stay in the same room but would still need to go to the front desk and recheck-in for the CRO part of the reservation. This would only work if the 2 reservation were for the same exact room view( ie standard, preferred, or boardwalk).

What view do you have for points? If it's standard or boardwalk, chances are you will have to move for the CRO reservation.
