DH and I are already looking forward to our 2nd anniversary  and our 1st one won't be here for another 18 days! The reason we're so excited about the second is because we're going to DISNEY WORLD!

I'd like to go ahead and book our room for the trip. The dates (hopefully will stay this way) will be October 25- November 2, 2008. Is it possible to go ahead and book this early? Also, DH is in the reserves and it's always possible that he could be called to active duty at any time. What is the cancellation policy? Can we always add on the dining plan at a later time or do we have to cancel the room only and rebook with a whole package? I'm a little :confused3 confused by all the options.

Any suggestions would be great also!

TIA!

I believe you can book now. If you do a package your balance of the amount isn't due until 90 before the beginning of your trip. I would add the insurance to your package so you would certain to get the full refund, but check with the TA prior to setting the ressie. You can make adjustments throughout but if you are going to do DDP, I'd decide prior to the 180 day before your arrival so you can get what you want as far as the dining options go.

Did the whole thing through them. They do it all. Booking reservations etc.
They only do Disney and it is only online.
Good luck

:)

Yes you can book this far ahead, book a package then you can add DDP if you choose too, the Deposit is $200. the balance on the package does not need to be paid until 45 days [Not 90] prior to arrival date.
I would book direct with Disney as you then have full control of your reservation. Be sure you book your ADRs at 180 days out from arrival date too for best selection of restaraunts.
Also as it gets closer keep an eye on here for codes or specials you can apply to your reservation to save money.
If you need to cancel as long as it is before the 45 day mark you get full refund, within the 45 day but more than 5 days from arrival you lose $100.
and less than 5 days you lose $200. No shows lose everything. also within the 45 day mark there is a $50. fee to make changes to the reservation.
