Hello all. I am hoping someone can advise me as to the correct phone number to call to book room only at DLP. I looked at the very useful information thread for booking, but the website wont let you book room only (from my country anyway, that is not an option) and the only phone numbers listed are for dining reservations and the hotel. In the US for WDW you ahve a reservations number that you call rather than the hotels directly. My apologies if this information is there and I'm just not seeing it. Trying to do this with a toddler running around is making it harder than it used to be to plan our trips.

Thanks

On DLP Official Site it says number to call for booking from Switzerland is SCHWEIZ : 044 430 16 61 .
Hope it works :goodvibes

Thanks! I totally missed that, but then not surprising, given that I can barely type out a post with my little one running around.

Let us know how you get on please :goodvibes

Well, not sure how we are getting on. We wanted to book a room-only and then buy our annual passes when we got to the park. The reservationist is telling my husband that we have to buy a room/pass package and then buy Annual Passes when we get there (with no credit - ie. use the passes and then at the end of our stay buy the APs). This is annoying and I can't understand why it would be so different from WDW where you can book room only and then buy your APs once you arrive. Any insights on this would be much appreciated. So far the planning of this trip has not been nearly as much fun as past Disney trips. I hope the trip itself will be ok . . . .

this is true - you need an AP in hand to book an AP rate. I am dashing out the door and search is being cranky, but maybe in meantime you can look a few posts down page 1 or 2 for a similar post.

Cyrano linked my thread 'a solution for Americans trying to book room only rates' which offers advice

There was also a recent post from somoene looking for the number to book room only; I listed the direct English number to the French call centre on that thread....

When I booked our room only we weren't asked for our AP numbers in fact there was no mention of ever needing them in all the times I rang. In the end I rang back a few days after my booking and offered the AP numbers.

It might be that some phone operators don't bother ask for the numbers, if I didn't have to give the AP numbers to make the booking they can't be needed. Maybe some are just more trusting, incidentially I rang the official disney number, not the french one or the AP number just the ordinary number quoted in the brochure.

Hope this is of some use(not sure how!)

I should clarify - I wasn't trying to get an AP rate. I was merely trying to make a room only reservation which can be done all the time at WDW without having an AP. In the US we were able to make a room only ressie and then buy our APs on our first day in the park but it seems like DLP is so geared to packages that they force you to book rooms with tickets.

My question at this point is: Is it possible to book a room-only reservation (without ticket included i.e. no package) at DLP and if so, how is this done? We plan to buy our APs once we arrive. The reservationist is forcing us to book a package with a three day ticket saying it is the minimum that he is allowed to book.

Best not to compare what you can do with WDW vs DLRP, but go expecting a completely different experience - that way you won't be disappointed, and will discover how wonderful the parks are in France.

As you may have discovered, many things are done differently in Europe from how they are done in America. :)

These are new rules. Some time ago you could reserve "room only". Now you must have ANUAL PASS or a SHAREHOLDER CARD to book even if you want to pay the rate without the discount.
