Booking room for the day at Atlantis....

Any information would be of great help..... I heard that you can book for the day, so you can use the water facilities and the beach, can anyone help me out here? Wondering prices, and if you have to call the hotel directly, or the 800 number. I also heard there is a hotel in the area that also gives you priveleges at Atlantis..... is this true?

If you want to use the water slides areas you will need to get a room at Atlantis or the Comfort Inn across Atlantis. Just be aware that if you have more than four persons you will need to get more than one room.

However I did see some posting lately that some manage to get one room with five people.

If you want to see just the aquarium or the resort you can just need to catch a cab there.

Hate to admit this, because I got alot of "flack" but "good flack"
about my booking 2 rooms at the atlantis for 4/8. We are a group of 14, 6 in my family alone and I had to book two rooms.
I was told that the max in each room was 4. Ok, now make sure your sitting down....$850.00 for 2 rooms for the day..and one thing to remember, room check-in is not guaranteed before 3 pm
but they will give you your braclets to use pools/slides as soon as you get there. Personally, I know it's alot of money, I've never been there before and have always wanted to go there..and I really don't care about using the rooms prior to 3 pm anyway.
So if you have the money to spare and it's something you really truly want to do, I say "go for it" have fun, your on vacation!

Going on Disney Wonder in July. Booked a room at the Comfort Suites which is adjacent to the Atlantis so that we can use the pools and slides at the Atlantis. Booked the room for $175.00. I figured it wasn't much more expensive than paying for the Atlantis Beach Excusion through Disney for three people and you can't even use the pools and slides at the Atlantis if you book through Disney. I also priced a room at the Atlantis it was $265.00.
