DH and I will be cruising in October out of NYC. I just looked at Bermuda for next year and it looks like that going fast. I wanted to book onboard to get discount and perks, but I am afraid to wait.

Can I book now and rebook onboard to get discount and onboard credit?

Yes, you can book that cruise now, and then the next time you sail look to see if you could save money by re-shopping it on board.

Yes, but you won't get your 10% discount off current pricing (unless the going price for your future cruise just doesn't change between now & your upcoming cruise). You'll have to cancel & rebook with the 10% off whatever will be the going rate at the time of your upcoming cruise.

We booked onboard for Fantasy April 2018 on our Fantasy cruise last month. Base price was $4175 (pre discount). Looking right now at website the room next to ours is $4511. It was $4300+ last week. So that's a big jump since April 23rd when we booked.

It seems like a lot of people cruise around the same week each year, so a lot of people book on board for the same week the next year. That increases demand and lowers supply, which makes the price jump. That's why I think if you're going to do onboard booking do it the first day
