Booking Question

We would like to stay at either OKW or SSR for a week in a studio in March or April 2017.

We already have a week booked at AKV in a 2 bedroom for October 2017 for a vacation with our friends.

Our use year is June. We own 160 points. We have active Anual Passes.

We banked the balance of our 2016 AKV points and used them along with all but 17 of our 2017 AKV points for our October vacation.

We are not planning to go to WDW in 2018.

Will Member services allow me to switch my 2017 AKV points to book my March/April Studio and then borrow my 2018 points for my October 2 bedroom reservation.

I have found they may do many things to help a member,and often things you might not be expect. i would give it a try . Call and be nice .. you might get the help you need

Chances are, though, they will tell you that they can only swing this if there is current availability for the AKV room you want.

There are ways to work it if MS says they can't help. But I'm guessing that the dates for October are probably still available for the 2BR so you could cancel that reservation, book your March/Apr studio and then book the Oct dates again and borrow whatever points you need.

If you cancel the fall vacation, you could then borrow up to 160 points from 2017 for the spring vacation. The trick will be if there is still availability to rebook your fall trip. If you do it now, there should still be availability for October at AKV.
