Ok so we booked our trip a few weeks ago, and now there is a 15/20% off your stay promotion. My question for you all is if I call them tomorrow and talk with them at the DLH will they honor the new deal and maybe save us some money? Because now we could have a prem. room @ 200$ cheaper than our reg. room. :confused3

It's my understanding that the new deal is not good on previously booked rooms. However; if they have rooms available, you could call and cancel the current reservation and make a whole new one with that deal.

I would call and see if there are rooms available. Then have them cancel your current res (if you made it through them) and do a whole new reservation. They used to apply new discounts to existing reservations, but that might only apply to AP holders.

Good luck!;)

I think it is certainly worth a call, or even a couple of calls!

(Sometimes if you don't get the answer or information you are looking for it is best to thank the CM politely for his or her time and hang up and then call back and speak with someone else.)

I booked at room yesterday online for a trip next July to celebrate the 60th anniversary. I called today because I never received an email confirmation and wanted to make sure everything was correct and I actually had my reservation. The CM I spoke with was wonderful. While we were chatting I mentioned in passing that we were a military family. She quickly said "wait! there's no military discount on your room, let's see if we can fix that!" after a bit of searching, she found a premium view, concierge room for about the same price as the standard one I had booked. She changed the reservation and we are set! :thumbsup2

Called an got a room upgraded and saved us 105$ off our price that we had booked! :cool1:

That exact thing happened to us last year and they were fantastic about it.

Made the adjustment right away while we were on the phone and emailed a new confirmation. It saved us hundreds of dollars. We were booked at GC Concierge and they announced a very sweet deal. I jumped right on it. No problems at all.

That's a lot of churros!!

Called today and they were great about it...saved $300 on our upcoming 5 night stay at the GC and got a room upgrade (standard to courtyard/woods).
