Booking question...

Hi all!
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but it seems like the best option.

So...I booked our vaca yesterday and am so excited! It will be me, hubby, my mom, DS9, DS6 and baby coming at the end of this month I have AS-sports booked 9/8-9/16 and then a room for my mom 9/8-9/14. I noticed I only got a confirmation number and email for my portion only. He took my mothers address and phone # but EVERYTHING is being planned by me... I am doing all the ADRs and payments so shouldn't I have gotten the conf #? Should I just call and get the info and make sure all ME paperwork and package info comes to my house? She would easily think it is junk mail and toss it

Confirmations and mail will ALWAYS go to the lead person on the reservation.

So all confirmations and subsequent mail will go to her, since she is the lead on the second room.

With the millions of reservations Disney handles, there is no way to have stuff mailed to another address; the logistics would be a nightmare.

You will have to tell her to look out for anything from Disney and open it. ME packets are normally shipped out 30 - 45 days before check-in and Packages are shipping about 30 - 25 days before check-in.

Room only will only come by confirmation.

PP is correct. She will have to watch her mail.

Also, just in case you didn't see it, there is a new free dining offer out today for Disney Visa holders for your dates. It will become available to the general public on Monday, so if you didn't have any other discounts when you booked yesterday, you may want to look into this deal.

Will they send her something in the mail with it since she doesn't have an email?? I will just make sure I am on her to get her mail and NOT throw away random stuff

As for FD...I had been sitting on a FD pin and decided I should book yesterday so if it came out to the public today I didn't need to worry about everyone calling at the same time as me

I decided to call yesterday to see if I had any new PINs because I knew the phone lines would be packed with Dis-ers today, and I had a 30% off PIN for my trip! I am still hoping to switch to free dining when the Oct. deals come out, but last Oct. we paid full price for everything, so at least I know I won't have to do that this year! Have a great trip!
