booking question

So I have gone through 3 different wedding consultants since I decided to have my DFTW. Each one has told me different things about booking my dessert party. First I heard that I can only book it through DFTW, then I heard that they dont deal with it at all, then I heard that they dont book it but that i have to book a chaperone through them. I'm really confused, All I want to know is when can I book it and who do I book it through. I am having an escape wedding.

I emailed my coordinator and asked, "Do you have information on Epcot dessert parties?"

She replied, "Sure! I have plenty of information on Epcot Dessert Parties!" ...and then proceeded to give me a lot of basic information. She closed the email telling me to contact her with any other questions.

Everything for my dessert party was done through my coordinator.

Man I am glad I had the coordinator I did because it seems like some people get such a run-around depending on who they are assigned

aduck126, have you officially signed a contract? There seems to be a whole slew of people at DFTW that you may encounter; sales consultants, sales coordinators, BEFORE you get your coordinator. These people might not have all the information that the coordinators have.

Yes I have signed my contract. My current planner is kind of aloof. The first one I had got fired, the second one I had was just filling in for a couple months while they go things sorted out, and now the third one I have never even really talked to. Now I am getting emails from disney from 2 other people, Rosie and Jennifer that want to talk to me about flowers/music/ceremony details. So I pretty much have no idea what is going on. I have told ALL of them that I want a dessert party and nobody has helped me with anything.

I just emailed my planner asking when/how I book my dp, I'll post what she says.

I'm an Escape bride and Kathleen booked mine for me at 6 months out.

Rosie and Jennifer wouldn't book it for you they are just floral etc.

Yep she said that it books 6 months out. Which is next week for me. So I have really good timing.
