Here's the info:
I called to check availability/pricing for the free dining package for Visa cardholders... I am a Visa card holder, and have an existing bounceback reservation. I want to make a new (completely separate) reservation for my DS19, who will be with us for 4 days during the trip.
The CM pulled up my information when I gave her my phone number (she would not even check availability for me until I did this
) and asked who is in the travel party. I told her one adult. She pressed on and asked who was traveling. I said the room is for my son, but I was making the reservation. (She could see that we already have a reservation and wanted to link them together. Not sure why.) As soon as I said the room was for my son, she asked if he had a Disney Visa. He does not... so I can't book a room. Even though I'm paying for it?
I can't understand why I can't book a room for my teenage son with my credit card. The CM told me she'd get fired if she did that. If that's the policy, that's fine .. but I was very confused. LOL.
