Booking Palo brunch - will this work?

We have a group of 19 cruising together in September - 6 couples and 7 kids. The 6 ladies want to book a Palo brunch. 4 of the ladies have cruised Disney before so our booking window will be 90 days instead of 75. Would it be possible to book the brunch for the 4 ladies and throw in a couple of the husbands on the reservation to make it a total of 6? In other words - when we check in for our reservation are they going to be checking what names are on the reservation? Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks in advance!

The 4 rooms that have the earlier booking date should go ahead and each make a reservation for both adults in their rooms. Try to get close to the same time/date (but that's not really important). Then, once you board, go to where the Palo reservations are being handled and combine them, so you all can sit together. It's done a lot.

Something we learned the hard way - do not link your reservations until after your excursion booking date or the entire group will be based on the lowest group (ie those who have not cruised before).

Yes, you can use the husbands as "place holders" for the other women. But, make sure to switch the names on the reservation when you board so the charges will go to the correct person's account.

I do not believe this is correct. We are Silver and our booking window opened up last night. We are traveling with friends who are first timers. Our reservations are linked. I was able to book port adventures for our stateroom and complete our check in process. Our friends names show up on port adventures and Palo, but are grayed out so I cannot choose to add them until their booking date opens up. We are hoping that the port adventure we chose will have availability for them in 15 days so we can all do the chosen activity together. If not, we will go with plan b. But I do have my confirmations for our stateroom.

I thought that had changed, but I wasn't sure.
