Booking Online with 2 Contracts, Same UY/Membership #

Thinking ahead to booking for F&W next fall. I have 2 contracts with banked and borrowed points that I would like to use for the reservation. There are enough banked/borrowed points between the two contracts to complete the reservation I want. Looking at the online booking system, it appears that I can choose which contract to use first, but I cannot specify "use only the banked points from A, then the banked & borrowed points from B" before taking any points from the current UY in either of the contracts.

Am I missing a step somewhere? Or would I have to go thru making the reservation online using points from A then contact Member Services to reallocate the points to take the banked/borrowed points from B?

If you are booking when the 11 month window opens, I'd book the number of nights that I could with the banked points from one contract. (Choose the one with most banked points). Then I'd call MS when it opens to finish up the reservation using the points I want to use. Assuming you got the first few nights, there shouldn't be any risk of not getting the rest of your reservation. This would be the easiest way to get done what you want to do.

If you are booking at 7 months, then I'd do what you suggest - book everything online as best you can and then call MS and ask to reallocate.

Of course, for 11 month scenario, both contacts would have to be the same resort that you want to book.

I'm pretty sure the online system works the way you want it too. Worst case, book it online and then have MS reallocate the points later in the day.

When you choose two contracts in same use year and both have banked points, the online system takes the banked points from both for the reservation before taking any current use year points from either contract.

Yep, the system will use banked from both first. Then take from the contracts based on how you have them ordered. After you finalize the reservation you will be shown how the points were used and if it didn't take them correctly you are given the option to cancel.

We just made a reservation for the spring using banked points from two contracts and yes, it took the banked points first and the current year points from the contract labeled use first. Keep in mind you are telling the system which contract to use first and which to use second and even third if desired. DH always checks to make sure the online works properly and so far we have not had any problems.
