When will we be able to book online for trips in 2007???
I'm waiting to book a trip for January for my b-day but can't do it online and I don't want to call to book.

Why don't you just call them and book? I had to finally call and booked 10 days starting Jan.4, 2007. Good luck and have fun :thumbsup2

I feel more comfortable booking online because I like to take my time with the booking. Plus I don't even know where I want to stay so I want to do the comparisons online.

Maybe in August.....I have my room only ressies, but they told me to call back in Aug. for the packages, so perhaps they will be online then? :confused3

I've read everything from first of August to mid-Sept. Hope sooner rather than later.

You can compare room only pricesHere

Not packages but at least you will get an idea of what the room will cost you

We are the same way. We love to book on line. We went in Feb 06 and are going again in Feb 07, so when we tried to book on line and it wouldn't let us, I asked DH to call. The CM that he spoke with said very soon either end of July or beginning of Aug (she didn't know exactally when) but booking on line is the way to go.

PS loved the pictures from then to now, so cute! :thumbsup2

What kind of comparisons do you want to do?

If it is theming there you can still do the research and then call when you decide.

If it is price, room only rates are currently available.

For package I would probably add 5%-10% onto the current package prices and you would probably be pretty close to next years package prices.

I do agree with you however... I prefer to book online whenever I can. But if I were this close to Disney trip I probably would have called already. Heck, we are planning an Aug 2007 trip and I can't wait until to 2007 package/AAA rates come out. I will still need to call for this since you can't book AAA online.

Well we are going in September/October and I feel like if I booked a trip now for January, I would go crazy trying to figure out how to pay for it. (Trip booked for 06 was paid months ago wheww!)
I wanted to stay at The Poly in January, but financially it would just make sense to stay moderate again :( And I know moderates have good rates especially slow times (January) so I'm hoping there are some codes for January.

I called a few days ago, and was told they now would not be putting the packages out until mid to end of september. They have been having many people call about them she said and they need to do something soon, but the last thing all of them were told was mid to end september. They are still working out things the guests have told them they do and do not want to have brought back, and what changes/ upgrades they will be doing so they have no details on anything including if the price will go up. The Disney travel agent at Disney said they are trying to make it perfect for guests. I have basic package booked, and I have to book ADR'S before I even get to book package. Put the cart before the horse so to speak. This is our Disneymoon trip, so I really would like to get details done as soon as possible. Guess just have to put the cart before the horse so to speak. :bride: pirate:

I would advise you to call and make your reservations. If it takes them a while to get all the info to you, it's not your fault that it's not online yet. I made reservations for March 2007 last week, and one of the room categories I wanted was already unavailable! I was surprised since it is early and not online yet. For Jan. 2007, it would be better to have a reservation before your choices become more limited. Just my 2 cents. Good luck planning!

I second the motion for calling now. We are planning for Jan '07 also and initially made our room only ressie back in Feb '06. Just changed to the "basic package" without knowing the exact cost or details of what that package will be, but we know where we want to stay and what type of room. I absolutely would place that call ASAP if you have preferences. Good Luck and have a great vaca.

:confused3

Okay was waiting for a post to have this in it. So if I book a room only right now for Feb. or March 2007 and then when the packages come out in Sept (up here in Canada that is when they come out) I can cancel and rebook with the package? If that is true how much do you pay now? Also if I have to cancel will I get my money back?

Thanks everyone for this post because I was wondering all this.

:grouphug: Feb or March 2007 at POR

I called Disney last night because what I wanted to do was add 5 extra tix to my sept trip with no expiration so i can go in January for much cheaper. BUT, somehow they wouldn't let me. I have 8 days worth of tickets for Sept and I wanted to add on 5 more bringing the total to 13 days of tickets (But I was only going to use 8 in Sept) For some reason the price he gave me was $291/person. ??? Doesn't make sense ?? I thought it would be $100 for the no expiration and another maybe $50 for the extra days of tickets since the more you buy the cheaper it is??
Can anyone help me there??
THANKS!

You can't have more than 10 days worth of tickets -- that's the max for MYW. I'm not sure on prices, but you may be better off to apply the cost of your 8 day tickets to annual passes.

I know..... but we got free dining for Sept. I can't change anything or else I lose the dining. I should've just gotten annual passes to begin with :(

When you are at Disney in September can you not upgrade your tickets to an annual pass and just pay the differance between what you paid and the price of the annual pass? I am sure I read you can do this somewhere on these boards. :confused3 It is worth a try to same some money for an up in coming trip! :thumbsup2
