A one way ticket is not nearly the red flag it was years ago. Many carriers market themselves on 'All our fares are one-way" (SWA, JetBlue, Song, AirTran to name a few)
In February, we're flying BOS-MCO on Song, and returning home RSW-BOS via Jet Blue. 2 one-ways, one different airlines, with 3 cities involved.
I wouldn't give it a thought.
