Booking on non-UK sites

I tried phoning the UK number tonight and this put me through to the US booking centre - they said that it shouldn't be done and the booking should match your passport. The lady stopped short of saying it was forbidden but offered no solution and the same price as booking on UK site. Will I be ok to book via the Irish site then?

i don't phone the UK booking number, ever, even if I'm booking using a UK offer. I either book online or phone French Guest Services at DLP (in their office hours).

Honestly, there is no problem whatsoever using another country's DLP website to book your trip.

I've phoned the UK number and said I would like to book on another countries deal (France) was told no problem and was transferred to the French call centre. They don't ask for your passport at the hotel, you just need to fill in the passport number

Thanks all - booked today via the Ireland site - got an email confirmation through (only one brief email which I hope is enough). It did mention document delivery address but given I've not really anything to confirm I assume this either won't be sent or simply be returned if not delivered. Looking forward to a fab trip!

I've booked via phone using French offer and paid only deposit. All amount was charged 30 days to our trip. But a week later my friend called, they let her book using French offer, but she had to pay whole amount. A year before CM didn't let me use UK's offer because I wasn't from UK.
