how does booking on board with a dummy date work?

When you go to the booking area (deck 4 overlooking the atrium, port side...if I remember correctly) you just tell them the length of cruise you want and they will book the last cruise possible for that itinerary.

If you are thinking of a special/longer itinerary for 2010 or after, just book the last seven day available.
