Are there perks to booking our next trip at our disney hotel before we leave? How much depisit is needed?

Yes there is almost always a "Bounce Back" offer. If you chose a package is it $200 deposit or for room only it is one night deposit.
Dial Ext. 8844 from in-room or call 407-939-1923 while you are still a resort guest. I always suggest you call a couple of days before your last day just so you don't forget.

We had a trip booked at full price and I was able to call and the bounceback offer saved me $750.

Sounds great. I spoke with a friend who told me she called as was told that they give the free dining plan. I was just curious. We are heading there in April 2019 and would book for 2020 as well if that was the case.

In the past what has been available in April is discount on a return stay in the same year, so in April 2019 you would not be offered any 2020 discounts. The free dining offer becomes available later in the year.
