Booking multiple ADRs at the same time?

Hi all... apologies if this has been asked. I'm used to MDE not allowing you to book two restaurants at the same time (it used to say "you have a conflict" and ask you to cancel one while you book the other). Today was my ADR day and I was able to book both beaches and cream and storybook dining at the same time. Obviously I'll cancel one right away, but doesn't this allow crazy ADR hoarding? I just thought this was weird so I figured I'd ask. Thanks!

It happened to me the other day. We decided we didn't want to eat at the place we originally had booked and went to book somewhere else at DHS around the same time and instead of cancelling the original reservation it was still there and we had both until I manually cancelled the one we didn't want anymore. I thought it was odd too and just a glitch but clearly not if it's happening to other people as well. If this is the new norm then it'll definitely cause even worse hoarding issues :/
