Booking member discounted cash room

can I book a member discounted room for a friend? She is using my points for four nights but the other three nights are not available.

What is the usual discount on the room booked with cash through dvc?

Would my friend have to change rooms or could we link the reservations?

If the Member Cash discount is available, it will be 25% off rack rate.

Member Cash & Member Points reservations can be linked so a room change should not be necessary.

Historically, the member had to be in the room booked on member discounted cash reservation. Know, too, that cash availability is about as good or worse than points availability.
