I'm trying to book DME online and don't want things to be messed up. Do the names on the DME reservation have to line up with our resort reservation? I booked 2 rooms, one for DH and I and one for my parents. Both rooms have my name on them since we are getting the military room rate and I'm the military member. When I submit my form to I put my name in the guest name box on both or on the second one should I put my Mom's name. I don't want them deleting the reservation because the room reservation names and the DME names don't match up, and I don't want them to turn us away at the counter because my Mom's name isn't on the DME reservation. TIA.

DME is a function of resort reservations. The only people eligible to use DME are people specifically named on a WDW resort reservation. If their name doesn't appear on the reservation at all (I'm not talking the "lead" name, I'm talking named on the reservation at all), then they can't use DME.

Alrighty, I will be calling Disney to get this taken care of tomorrow. I don't know how they would do this without putting 3 adults in 1 room. Would that not be an extra charge?

Yes, a third adult in a room carries an extra per-night charge.

It really shouldn't matter who the lead person is on both rooms. As long as each person is listed on a room reservation. For instance...you booked both rooms, but you are in one room, and mom and dad are in the second room. Disney realizes you aren't going to sleep in both rooms. So, you will book DME using only the three actual names..your name doesn't need to appear twice.

Thank you both for your replies. I just got off the phone with Disney and they made some changes to our reservations. First of all they fixed the names that were misspelled, and they fixed the second reservation to show my Mom and Step Dad's names as the guest with just my name as the reservation holder (lead I guess?) and DH and I on the other reservation. She also took care of booking DME for all of us. One step closer to our trip.
