Booking Magical Express

I am wondering if anybody here can help me.
Me and a friend are travelling to Orlando in Oct, We have booked a flight with Virgin, and are booking the hotel at Disney seperately through a friend. Is it possible to book the Magical express seperately? or can you only book it if you book a package flight and hotel?
any help would eb appreciated.

No you don't have to book it as a package, you just need to be staying in a Disney resort. Details here with FAQ's if you have not seen it. Just ring them and book it for your arrival.

as wayne says,as long as your staying there the day you arive you can use it from the airport and there last day before you go back you can use to the airport
It has to be pre booked prior to arival if useing it for departure it has to be pre booked for that as well
You can use it one way or both ways eather to or from the airport
We have used it plenty of times even before you had to pre book and only had to turn up at desk.
If yelow tags dont arive for lugage or any documentation hasn`t arived before traveling.As long as you have booked dont worry as they will have your details at the ME desk
We tend not to use our Yelow ME tags and pick up our own bags as it can take 2-4 hours to arive in room.
This is ok if ariving in mornning but when its evening we want our bags with us not ariving in middle of night

Thats great thanks very much for your help. normally every year I go we rent a car but as its just me and a friend going for a week we thought no point in getting a car and the money we save spend on a nicer hotel at Disney hehe
I don't think i would bother getting my luggage dropped off id just rather take it esp as it will only be one case.
