I'm so thrilled! We've begun our character dining booking! It makes me even more excited for our trip!

We've decided on three things we haven't done yet. Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner we've done breakfast), and A princess storybook feast in a resturant in Epcot!

Anyone have any thoughts about these character dining experiences? Are they worth while?

I can definitely say the CRT for dinner is very expensive and I wouldn't do it again. The food is terrible, service OK and no princesses. Cinderella is sometimes in the court downstairs, but she is not guaranteed.

If you look at other threads regarding the Princess dining at Epcot you will see an overwhelming negative about that one as well.

If it were me, I would choose 1900 Park Faire @ GF. Chef Mickey's or Ohana. It is not the total princess immersion, but the experience is almost guaranteed to be better.

If you've never been to CRT and really want to go, get a breakfast or lunch, just my.02

I absolutely love Princess storybook in Norway. They have some princesses that you don't see as often like Mulan (for breakfast at least) also if you have dinner there they have Aerial in a ballgown. The food for breakfast was good. But we are trying dinner there on our upcoming trip. My DH favorite is Chef Mickeys the food is good and it's alot of fun! We had CRT for breakfast in 2003 the food was OK but we mostly went there because DD was 3 and loved the princesses. I would go tback to all of them. Hope that helps.

I think you will like your character meals. :cool1: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :wave2:

Thanks for all the imput, I heard that the dinner at CRT was fine that the "celebration" was cute and that the princesses are approachable and at least one will be there to take a picture with.

Also, Money really isn't an object when we go to disney :teeth:

The princesses are not at the dinner seating. The CM's will tell you that over and over when you book, just be aware. IF a princess is there she is in the court downstairs, cannot come upstairs (as I was told by our waiter). There is absolutely no guarantee of a princess being at a dinner seating. If you are going to see a princess for sure, then dinner is not the meal you should book, just my .02.
