We have the Key to the Kingdom Tour booked on one of our Magic Kingdom days. I had planned to buy Genie+ and stack rides for after the tour but I read that no phones were allowed to be used on the tour. I understand that no pictures can be taken, but will they allow you to book LL's on your 2 hour marks?

I'm thinking that they don't want you taking any behind the scenes pictures. You could call Disney Signature Services to ask - 407-939-7777.

Seems like as long as you’re not “back stage” you would be able to. Maybe let your plaid know what time you will need to make your next g+ selection so they can make sure you aren’t back stage at that time.
Good luck!

That wouldn't work for me as my insulin pump and CGM are tied to my phone. I can only operate my pump/check my blood sugar levels from my phone. I'm sure I'm not the only diabetic with this issue on this tour.

You will need to discuss this with your guide prior to the tour. The beginning of the tour is mostly onstage with a stop backstage prior to lunch. Most of the tour, after lunch, is in the utilidors where phone usage is strictly prohibited (at least this was the order of the tour when I did it last year). Depending on what the guide says, you may need to forego booking LL while backstage.

This really isn't going to work. There are long periods of time when you are backstage on this tour and it is not a private tour. There are also 3 tours per day and the guides have to keep pace so that the other tours get to each location on time. The guides can't adjust tour times or routes to accommodate the specific requests of individual guests.

You know… I was thinking VIP tour not KTTK.
It may not be as efficient stacking, but it still seems like a good idea.
Hopefully your times won’t be too off.
Have fun on the tour!

I took the tour back in January and it seemed like we had most of the tour inside the park - no super long stretches backstage..maybe 30-45 minute stretches at most? You might miss your exact 2 hour mark. That's a good question to ask your tour guide before you start out.

I think if someone has a medical need to look at their phone just tell the CM guide beforehand.

Hi, can I ask how you got on booking LL whilst on the tour please? We are booked on to the tour in a few months & wondered how convenient it would be to stack rides. Thank you

I did the tour on Saturday and they are very strict about no phones out. The guide can get in trouble with management so I didn’t even try to risk it because she was so great and I didn’t want to jeopardize her career.

We got a 7am VQ for Tron and that’s permitted as being on tour is one of the few reasons allowed to miss the 1-hour window.
