We are going to WDW from the 18th to the 24th of May. I am bringing my entire family, 16 in all. We had planned on staying a few extra days after the family leaves to spend my birthday 527 at the parks.
Saw the Travel channel report on Disney Cruise line and now my the immediate family is thinking of taking a 4 day cruise instead of extra days at the parks. I would be thrilled to spend my birthday on a cruise. My family said they would never cruise, they said there would be nothing to do on the ship. I cuised last year alone and had a great time.
I called Disney and got a quote of about $600 per person including taxes and fees, etc. That seems awful expensive compared to what I read on the Cruise site.
Are rates higher if you wait until the last minute? Peggie

Yes, MUCH higher on DCL. DCL does not discount at the last minute and only offers Early Booking Savings. The sooner you book, the better your price. :)

Although DCL wouldn't be cheaper, wouldn't a cruise agent have some deals? Trying to unload last minute inventory?
