Booking July Fireworks Cruise..update - you won't believe CM's suggestion

I shared an Illuminations cruise in Feb and it was one of my most amazing Dis experiences. I want to book the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks one for July but don't know how to guess when. Any ideas when they will post July hours or how to deal with this under current cut back situations. I am able to book starting this Monday.

I'm unsure what you are asking. You don't know what day to call to reserve the specialty cruise? You can use <b>THIS CALCULATOR</b> to determine which day to call.

Do the same thing to reserve MK fireworks as you would to reserve Illuminations. Just ask for a MK fireworks specialty cruise, they will tell you what time to be there.

Good luck with this, I understand this specialty cruise is just magical.

Sorry for not being clear, I know when to call...but don't know what day to request. It seems fireworks have not been a nightly thing lately (unlike Illuminations). Any guess as to when they will release schedule or how to guestimate? I'm not overly optimistic, since I just heard they changed the May schedule this week.

I can't believe it.....the CM had me make reservations for 3 nights in a row. She said there is no way to know when the fireworks will be. She recommended I call back mid-June and cancel 1 ressie. If the fireworks are being done all the nights I am there I should keep 2 ressie in case of rain and cancel one 24 hours in advance when I know I don't need it.

I now understand what makes this hard to book if everyone is doing duplicate ressie at CM's recommendation!!!!

That's why you should never give up on finding the PS you want. Especially closer to your trip. There are always cancellations.

We got an Illuminations cruise 7 days before we left for WDW. I called on a whim and got one!!!

I'm surprised the CM suggested that but now we know why the cruise captains suggest that we never give up trying for a cancellation and to even call while you are in WDW.
