Booking Hoop-de-Doo...?

Just posted this on the dining/restaurant forum but thought it wouldn't hurt to do here as well...

Do any of you FW afficionados know the current policy on booking the Hoop-de-Do? I'm seeing all sorts of conflicting info on other WDW-related sites. Some say you just give the CC number to guarantee the reservation, others that the card will be charged in full when you call.

And this would be for just plain trying to book the HDD, not part of a package of any kind.

Last December when we went they charged the card when we booked the reservation.
Have you ever been to the HoopDee Doo? If not, its great family fun everyone seems to enjoy it.

Hello, LegoMom3!

I just called last week to get ADR for our upcoming trip. I was told that my CC would be charged at that time for the total price. I was also given a confirmation number. Also, the last several times we have been to the HHD
my CC was charged at the time I called for ADR. Hope you enjoy the show!

Do they have a cancellation policy? I think they used to. It's been a while since we've gone. Last time we went, I did have to give the card number..but it wasn't charged fully. You were able to cancel five days before..without any charge to the card. Do they currently refund any of the paid in full amount if you cancel with a certain time period?

Heres the deal if you are on the DDP they will take the card but not charge it...if not on the plan they will charge the card ...hope i helped

Thanks to all for your replies! It has helped to clear this up for me. DH and I saw the show 10 years ago and loved it. Now it's time to introduce our 3 DSs to it!

What if you aren't on a dining plan..and you book it..understand they charge your card..however is there a refund policy of any type?
