today I booked through Disney for our stay in September. Since it was a package with tickets they said we will receive lanyards and since I used my visa we will get a backpack. Anyone have photos of what these look like?

My cousins stayed at one of the Paradise Pier hotel and they received lanyards. They were pretty standard 60th Anniversary Disneyland navy blue lanyards with the end slip for tickets in them. They didn't book a package though, just the hotel so it may be different for you.

That's neat about the backpack. I'm curious how that looks as well!

I'm not sure it is a backpack. The wording is "As a Cardmember, you’ll get an exclusive Dreams insulated tote bag (one per package, while supplies last)." I may be mistaken but I think it looks *similar* to this.

We booked an October Disneyland trip and will also get "the goodies".

Does anyone know when / how you actually receive them? Upon check-in at the hotel or via mail upon final payment?

Yes that's what the website says but on the phone they said backpack. That tote is really cute though!

I'm glad you asked this, I've been curious as well. I'm assuming we get the stuff upon check in, but I have no idea!
That bag is ADORABLE!! I hope the one we get is similar to that, I love it!

When we booked for October 2015 trip and used our Disney visa we got the bag with our Fed Ex tickets and information and there was a coupon to get the Lanyards in the park. Not sure if that is how they are still done.

We received luggage tags in the mail with all our travel documents. Included was a coupon booklet that included a coupon for a pin and lanyard to be picked up at a few different places. One was pin traders in DTD. We did this on our arrival night so we didn't use park time later that week Ours was a light blue lanyard.

Also included is a coupon for a photo! Don't forget to get it!
