If you book a Good Neighbor hotel through Disneyland does anyone know if it's the customary $100 hold on the card?
If you’re booking a package, you pay a $200 deposit, and pay the balance 30 days before your tripIf you book a Good Neighbor hotel through Disneyland does anyone know if it's the customary $100 hold on the card?
That's not what I was referring to. At WDW properties on day of arrival they hold $100 for charges etc....Was wondering if that's the same for Good Neighbor hotels booked through Disneyland on the day of arrival. If you’re booking a package, you pay a $200 deposit, and pay the balance 30 days before your trip
Ah, sorry. I wouldn’t think there would be any holds since you can’t charge to your room like staying on-site at WDWThat's not what I was referring to. Depends on the hotel. If you book a Good Neighbor hotel through Disneyland does anyone know if it's the customary $100 hold on the card?

Okay, I get it's customary for a hotel to hold a deposit; however, my question pertains to if you book through Disneyland directly for Good Neighbor hotels are they only holding the $100 such as WDW does and then WDW holds another $100 once you've exceeded the initial $100.I assume you mean when you check in? Every hotel and motel I have stayed at in the last 20 years at least have done this, it is not just something that Disneyland does. It is to cover any incidentals and if there are none, the hold is removed from your credit card after checkout.

If this isn't a thing with DL and GN hotels that's fine but I don't appreciate the condescending remark.
On day of Arrival when we stay in WDW (We are DVC but this applies to all WDW properties) they charge the card for $100. I'm trying to figure out if that's a thing in DL (we all know the 2 are vastly different in a lot of areas).I really hope you didn't take my reply as condescending, it really was not meant that way! I'm on the West Coast so it is not even 8am here, my answer may not have come across the way I meant it!
But onto what you were asking, I'm not 100% sure I understand your question.
Are you asking about a $100 hold when you book or when you check in?

Thanks for apologizing on the remarks, I appreciate that.
The benefits of booking through Disney are minimal: a souvenir pin and some discounts at Downtown Disney:And to be honest, I would look at the Good Neighbour hotel sites and compare the cost to booking through the Disneyland website, you might find that you can get a better rate by booking direct although I am not sure if there are any benefits to booking through Disney that you would lose by booking direct.
