Booking for Dec. 2007. Too early - 500 days?

I've tried searching for this, but the server's always too busy(?). I thought I read somewhere that it has to be 500 days or less to arrival date to make reservations. True or false?

I did get a PM from a travel agent about my question. She told me 500 days out is true.

I just booked room-only for November 3-10, 2007. I tried to book last week, but because they count backwards from the day you depart Disney World, not the day you arrive, I had to wait a few extra days.

I thought you could book for all of 2007, by phone at least.

Yes, I booked direct through Disney, and had to wait until 499 days from departure.
