Booking for 4thof July 2005

We want to stay at the Polynesian over July 4th 2005, but I think Disney changed the dates of value season to start on July 5th, is that right?

Could I book 2 ressies at the Polynesian, one for one night on the 4th of July, then check out and check back in on the 5th to get the value season rate? Has anyone ever done it this way? Was it a hassle? Did you have to switch rooms? We are trying to save enough $$$ to stay concierge lagoon view, but I'd be ok with regular lagoon view. We'll have to see.

So should I book soon or wait until this summer to book? I know that any codes or discounts wouldn't be out this soon, but I really want this resort and view. It will be our 5th wedding anniversary and our last Disney vacation for a while.....so I want it to be super magical and LONG (I am hoping 12 days at least!).

Yes you could have two reservations. Just have them note on your reservation that you are continuing on with another one. You will have to go back to the front desk on the 5th and check out and check back in again. Most times you stay in the same room.
