We are doing a 2-night girls weekend in May. We're budget conscious, but not looking to pay the least possible. I'd like 2 bathrooms and to stay on property. Would you recommend two rooms, if so where, or dividing the cost by 4 is there a better option I'm not thinking about. I really love the EPCOT area, but that's not a requirement.

Maybe look into renting DVC points? The studios at the Poly have a split bathroom, one has a toilet/shower tub and the other a sink and shower. So 2 people can get ready at the same time. They are also the largest studios on property. Plus, if renting DVC, you are not charged extra adult fees, as you would if you had 4 adults in most Disney booked rooms. And the cost would be about what you would pay for 2 rooms at a value (Pop so you have Skyliner access for Epcot). You might even be able to find a confirmed reservation, which can save you even more. Otherwise, probably the best cost effective option is two value rooms. If you are willing to spend about $300 per night, then 2 moderate. I'd recommend French Quarter. CBR has the Skyliner, but it's sooo spread out.

The Riviera also has the split bathroom with one side toilet and tub/shower, the other side a shower. It's on the skyliner and very convenient to Epcot.

For the most part, we don’t stay in studios too often anymore (one or two nights max), but the RR studios are very nice and pretty spacious. It’s a lovely resort.

How important is 4 separate sleeping surfaces?

Or would 2 of you not mind sharing a bed, and the other 2 separate?

Or would it be okay 4 of you sharing 2 large beds?

Besides bathroom count, the answer to the bed question helps narrow down the options.

I didn't think to mention beds. I think we'd prefer our own.

Then it will have to be 2 rooms, or a 2BR villa, but that won't be all too budget friendly. However, you might be able to find a confirmed DVC reservation for a 2BR if you can be somewhat flexible on your dates.

The easiest way to get 4 beds and 2 bathrooms is going to be booking 2 rooms. I would play around with whatever discounts might be available and look at Pop, CSR or CBR. I think for a girl's trip, I'd want a moderate.

I would do two rooms as you will get 4 beds and 2 bathrooms (you can request connecting, though it's not guaranteed). In the value category, consider POP. In the mod category, consider POFQ - it's super small, so any room category is well-located, IMHO, plus you will have the boat to DS if that is of any interest. Also consider CSR - we prefer the "preferred" category for location, but if you choose standard or a different category to save money, it is a lovely resort to stroll, IMHO. The tower at CSR is also nice, but not necessary, IMHO, if you are looking to save some money. I also find the tower to be a bit noisy.

All Star Music has suites with two bathrooms and three queen beds. Or, rent DVC points.
