Booking excursions at embarkation

I know DCL holds back some dining and spa appointment times for people to book onboard. Do they also hold back excursions? i.e. will there be jet skis available for Castaway Cay if we go directly to Port Adventures when we board? They were all sold out at our Silver CC booking date. Thanks!!

No, excursions are fully available when pre-cruise booking windows open. Now, it's possible that DCL may add additional departure times later, after any given excursion is "sold out". And, they often run wait lists for those people who cancel onboard.

This exactly. I know it was RCCL, but last summer they were keeping a waiting list for one excursion (I wasn't on it, I was at the excursions desk about another one when a couple next to me was asking about if it was going yet) and if they had enough people put their names on the list they would be able to get another van/bus for the tour.

For Jet Skis at CC though it would probably be a waiting list. Keep checking back until the close-out date though as people may cancel ahead of time.

Thank you! We're gold after this cruise so hopefully it will be easier to book next time. Palo brunch was completely sold out too.

For that CC jet ski excursion, I tried to book that pre-cruise and it was full, then checked right after boarding and had no problem getting it.
