Hi, I am looking at staying in two on-site hotels and just wondered if Disney will transfer our luggage from one hotel to the other?

Hi Piglet, yes they will, we did this in 2007, we checked out of Animal Kingdom lodge early on 4th May, leaving our luggage at AKL. Went over to Wilderness lodget and checked in, went for breakfast at Crystal palace, spent the day at MK. At the end of the day returned to WL and our luggage was waiting for us. Couldnlt have been simpler, well I suppose they could have unpacked it for us :lmao:

Oh great! I don't know why I haven't thought of doing this before today - staying at more than one Disney Hotel, I only hope I can get my suitcase to stay shut so I can move it :goodvibes

In a few weeks time we are doing our first 3 hotel visit, 2 at WDW and one at universal. My Dw does not like packing an unpacking so I had to do a deal for the three hotels, I have to do all the packing and unpacking :scared1:

Don't know if I could cope with three changes, although saying that we will (hopefully) be two Hotels then a DCL Cruise :goodvibes

For your sake I hope you don't leave anything behind :rotfl:

Yes, they will. Just make plans to be out for the day, since they will take it in the morning before 11 am and you may not get your room until 3 pm. Best is to go to the new resorts and do early check-in on your way to the parks -- they'll give you a number to call to get the room number that has been assigned to you.

I have a plan

1) encourage family to be like men, live out of the case, do not unpack
2) if unpacking/packing is required DW will probably not trust me to do it
3) if I am required to do this, DW with triple check everything before we leave
4) after failing miserably on the first attempt I will not have to do it again

;)
