Last year I booked a night at Wilderness Lodge and got an excellent rate on Expedia US (much cheaper than anywhere else).

I am finding this time round that Expedia UK has some good rates for the Yacht Club (we want two nights there), around £80 cheaper than Disney UK and that is before Quidco discount. Can I retrive a Disney reservation number for this as I will have a couple of ADRS to make? Is it the same as the Disney UK process where I need to call Disney USA for them to retrieve it?:confused3

Do you mean it's cheaper with Disney UK or expedia? I booked with Disney UK last year & rang them for my res no, they insisted I did'nt need it but I insisted that I did & eventually was put through to Dinner ressies & the cm very kindly found it for me.

Whoops sorry I meant Expedia :headache:! We had the same problem with Disney UK and just phoned up Disney USA and the managed to get me the reservation number, I am assuming it would be the same when using Expedia?

No problem - doing a dummy booking for one night on the 3rd December 2010 the Yacht and Beach Club come out as £164 for a standard view (this is without adding the 7.25% Quidco hotel discount), while Disney UK is £218 :thumbsup2

I think were going to book concierge level and the difference is nearly £100 per night!!!!
Not sure if you have to book early to get these prices?

I am going to book once my dates are released next week, the hotel is fully refundable up until a few days before so if Disney USA bring out a 40% offer later in the year I will just cancel and re book :thumbsup2

The only problem with Expedia is they dont have DDP but we were going to get a Tables in Wonderland Card anyway as we will have an annual pass this year :)

Have you checked Hotels.com rather than Expedia? 12% cashback
http://www.quidco.com/hotels-com
Hotels.com LP is an affiliate of Expedia, Inc.

As for getting dining reservation from Disney.co.uk. I emailed disney.com this week and asked for it, got reply wthin 4 days with US reservation number. Works ok for dining reservations but can't access my hotel res, can only do that on .co.uk

I can never get Disney hotels to come up through hotel.com :confused3 not sure if its the way I search or they don't list them?

Maybe they don't list them as they sometimes give discount codes or higher cashback. Profit might be lower on Disney hotels, no idea was just a thought.

I will keep looking though Wayne :thumbsup2
