My girlfriend and I are going to WDW in September '14, staying at All Star Music. We booked the flight and hotel through Thomas Cook but no park tickets as yet. My question is if we buy Disney park tickets separately later on can we still take advantage of extra magic hours etc.? How would we link our tickets to our room booking? Last time I went my room keycard acted as my park ticket as well.

Thanks!

As long as you are staying on site, you are eligible for EMH. I think everything gets linked to your MDE (My Disney Experience) account, so your room key and park tickets would be on the same magic band, even though they are booked separately.

As I haven't booked with Thomas Cook, I can't tell you how to link that booking to your MDE, but it should be possible :)

You can buy your tickets from anywhere, if your staying on property you have access to all magic hours, they will link them to your band for you, best to shop around for the best deal.
