We are wanting to booking a Disney Cruise for next year and are looking for some advice as to who to book the cruise with.

Have looked at Dreams Unlimited and DCL but are wondering if there is someone we are missing.

We're not afraid to book online, but would like to go with a company with a good reputation.

Any advice??

Thanks

The Magic for Less Travel
Your Magical Journey
Dream Come True Vacations
Small World Vacations

Just to name a few!

If you are looking to book the 7 day on the Magic, unfortunately only available until the end of April.

Rumour has it that the Magic will be sailing in the Med! (keeping fingers crossed). They won't announce until the Spring of the itinerary change!

The Wait is Killing Me! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You could also book directly with DCL and then transfer your booking to another TA to get extra savings.

I did a pretty exhaustive search and found Dreams Unlimited to be the best but that might be different for different cruise dates.

I have heard that Costo.com and skyauction have good prices too but it didn't work out that way for us.

Let us know what you find out

Thanks for the replies...I'll be checking out all the suggestions.

We are hoping for 7 days on Magic...April 2007 so now is the time. Here's hoping for a free upgrade for booking early!

Scratch42...are you saying that the itinerary for April 2007 won't be announced until this spring and that it could possible be the Med? We haven't cruised before and aren't really sure about the itinerary yet.

I'll be sure to let everyone know what we find out.

No you're fine for April 2007, still sailing in the Caribbean!

It's in May when they plan to change.

Won't know for sure where or when until this Spring! Speculation is the Med but it could be elsewhere. Time Will Tell!

Happy Sailing!

We booked our 7night with Dreams Unlimited, and got a great price, But I don't know how they are for next year.

Friends of ours used the Magic for less, and got a good deal too.

Good Luck

I just booked our first cruise in Nov through DreamsUnlimited. We are doing the 7 day Western in Dec. I checked prices with SmallWorld vacations, skyauction, tripcentral.ca and vacationstogo.com. Dreams was the best price, and have provided exceptional service. The price was over $600US cheaper with Dreams than with skyauction, which really surprised me. Vacationstogo.com was nearly the same price as DU.

We booked through CAA. Don't know how cheap it was compared to other TAs, but at least it's close by and it was cheaper than the DCL website. Also, they will give you your reservation # so you can book excursions yourself.

I just priced out my identical trip with this site, and including trip insurance, it was $156. more than DU, but I booked with Dreams when they had the early booking specials, and the special pricing is not available for my cruise date anymore. Based on the CURRENT prices available for my dates, this site offers excellent value.

We booked directly through DCL and got the same price as Dream Unlimited quoted us however we were told my Dreams that we would receive a $100.00 onboard credit and then when we went to book the told us it would only be $25.00 due to some stupid thing that I totally didn't understand. There were going to be 12 of us and we were really ticked. We opted not to book with them and went with DCL for our second booking. We have not had a problem with DCL and since you are dealing with them directly they make sure everything goes well or they compensate you.
Good luck!

WEll, here is the good news...the reservations are made and deposit paid!!! Here is the bad news...not until April 2007. I don't think I'll be able to wait. I guess it will give me lots of time to figure everything out.

We ended up booking through CAAand are happy with the rate quoted($150 ship board credit too). Hopefully bookingwith them will be a good thing. The agent said that between all the agents there in her office they have only booked about 5 DCL cruise's in the past!!! This is the agent we have used in the past and are comfortable with her so hopefully it will all work out.

I think we have already hit the first snag, in that our stateroom is one of the "noisy" ones. So, I'm sending hubby back to see what else we can get. any recommendations. We are going with Cat 9 deck 2. We do want a connecting room as there is another family travelling with us.

Just wanted to share the excitement with those who understand.

Would you mind sharing some details regarding price etc? I have a CAA membership as well, but I booked through Dreams Unlimited. I would love to know how the two compare price wise. We paid $3003.92 US for 2 adults/2 kids in a Cat 10. This is for Dec/06. I think that works out to about $3500 CDN. We are also on Deck 2.

If this is too personal, I understand.

Don't feel bad about the long countdown. Ours started in October 2004 for our upcoming cruise in October 2006 -- I'm just thankful that we can finally say we are crusing this year.
