booking discount question

I thought I had read somewhere that if you book while at WDW for your next trip that you receive a discount. Similar to the rebooking on the DCL.
Is this true or am I having a fantasy?

In the past couple months there have been bounceback deals. If these are available, there would be a flyer in the room or on the resorts section of the WDW info tv channel. Isaw it when I was there in December and January.

Thanks, I am curious because we are staying at ASMu Suites, and would like to prebook(if they offer a discount) but for WL. I guess I can wait 5 days to find out!

Keep in mind if you don't see a flyer, watch the Disney info channel on the TV and when it gets to the section on resorts, watch for any ads about booking your next trip. This is how we knew in October while staying at the BWV. We didn't get a flyer, but went to the front desk and asked about the offer and they went in the back and brought out a flyer.....not sure why we weren't offered without asking. You have to call while you're still checked in and it was time consuming. The offer they gave us was not great, so we passed (looking for Pop and they offered 20% off) (I've since booked Pop for 40% off). Good luck, we leave tomorrow!

pop had a ad on my sister table in her room, but not on our table in our room ( we were in two different buildings of pop)

When I was at BWV earlier this month, the flyer was in the folder with all the welcome stuff you get when you check in. They also slipped a cute watch face shaped flyer under the door the day before check out, that had a calendar on it with the bounceback dates highlighted. That made it real easy to make the call (I hate to try without a calendar in front of me). I also saw it in the resort section on channel 19.
