Booking DISavers for 2003??

Please help me to figure this out. I need to get this reservation set now to coordinate with some other people.

Just joined disavers & tried to make our 2003 reservations at WDW to add on to our cruise in 6/03. It can't be done on the DS reservation request template because I can't get 2003 ! Now, I can do this by calling Disney reservations, so should I do that & then transfer the res. to disavers? Is that the only way to do it, and can that be done???

Hmm! 2003 is one of the choices in the Reservation template for DS ressies.

When you go to <a href="http://www.wdwinfo.com/dissavers/process/dissavers_member_login.cfm"> the DISavers login page</a> and enter your member number and the password you selected, you can enter the dates of your trip. 2003 is one of the options there. If you're still having problems, please let us know.

You can certainly make a reservation thru CRO and transfer it to DISavers, but it's a little easier to do it online and DISavers will book it for you.

Please try it again and let us know what happens!

I tried again & the year drop down box just offers 2002 for me. I wanted to reserve a WDW package. I tried the box for the DL package, just to see if it might work differently, & just found 2002 there also. I really would rather just book it once, rather than doing 1 & then a transfer.

Does yours offer 2003???

Ah, that's the problem, Disney has not released PACKAGE pricing for 2003 and thus packages are not yet available for booking for next year.

Typically package pricing for a year is released in late summer/early fall of the previous year, so we invite you to try back then.

I'm glad to know it's just a timing thing. So, the people we are going with must have made individual reservations, rather than a package, I guess.
They told me they called their travel agent & added on time at WDW, but it still seems curious to me that they could book anything if prices are not available. (?)

Oh well. Thanks so much for the help! I'll just have to be patient enough to wait till the end of the summer.

Yes, you can book room only reservations for 2003 now, BUT there's a condition.

Disney will not guarantee the price until the rates are official. When the actual rates are released, you will be charged accordingly. If it goes up or down, so will your nightly rate.

Booked it through DCL!!! Apparently the cruise line has access to packages for 2003. The prices were good - even a bit less than 2002 prices for WDW packages booked individually because it is an add-on. It includes the ultimate hopper. Very interesting, but I guess you can't use Disavers for it until late summer...

Hi Dylan's Mom

Since you are a current DisSaver's Member what you can do is fill out the reservation form with all the information for the package you have booked and select 2002 dates. Then in the 'special requests' box indicate that the dates you have booked are actually 2003.

Your DisSavers agent will contact Disney and verify all the information before processing and will adjust the dates on their end so they display correctly on your reservation.
