We'll be at POFQ Jun 11-18 and I'm hoping to return Dec 20-28 at a moderate, or WL (if I get a tax windfall). I think the current bounceback offer is for free dining for Dec 8-20. My questions are:

If I check in on the 20th, will the free dining extend for the length of my vacation?
If I do a split stay, I'd only have the free dining until I checked out of the first resort, right?
Finally, given the fewer number of WL rooms available now, would it make sense to book WL now and then apply the bounceback to it when I'm there in June? (Is this even possible?)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!

The FD offer expired Oct. 31st, 2016. The current bb which will be available to you in June is a room discount bookable between Dec. 8-23.

Oops, my googling must have been defective ;) I've tweaked the questions

If I check in on the 20th, will the room discount extend for the length of my vacation, or just to the 23rd?

The discount is only available til the 23rd. I'm not really sure what you should do, maybe someone else will chime in, but if you are going regardless of discount, I'd just book it now. Good luck! :goodvibes

If you plan on going & staying at WL no matter if you get a discount or not, booking now will guarantee you have the room you want. If you can only stay at WL with a discount, there is no point in booking at rack rate.

Having a room booked does not guarantee you will be able to apply a discount, even a bounceback offer. Disney limits the number of rooms available for any promotion. A room has to be available with the discount for your dates, resort & room type when you go to apply it. If the discounted rooms are all booked for your dates by your trip in June, you will not be able to book the bounceback promo, even if you already have a reservation. For example: let's say Disney has allowed 10 rooms for the bounceback promo for your dates ( made up number). Those 10 rooms are booked when you go in June. Your choices then would be change to a resort that does have availability, change your dates to what is available at WL or stay with your rack rate reservation. So booking now only gets you what you book now, not a future discount.

Thanks in advance!

You can also try to rent points. The only downside is that you're usually locked into the room.
