My daughter and her fiancé have decided to go to the Aluani Resort in Hawaii for their honeymoon. They will be staying for about 10 days. Our family including the fiancé are huge Disney fans. I have been booking Disneyworld vacations for so long I can do it in my sleep, but this one is new to me. I am looking for help, advice, tips.

Best airlines from the northeast (direct flight if possible), are there shuttles from the airport to the hotel? Best rooms to stay in? What to see? Any and all help would be very much appreciated. I looked for a Aluani Resort disboard, but this was the only one that seemed to fit. If I am in the wrong place, let me know. Thanks:)

I haven't been to Aulani, but perhaps you might find some additional Aulani specific stuff on the DVC boards? I know I've read Aulani TRs there; I'm sure these girls will chime in with some great honeymooning tips though!

My family flew out of Boston to Hawaii in 2008; I'm not sure if you'll be able to find a direct flight from this far out east. We did Boston-Phoenix-Hawaii going there and Hawaii-Denver-Boston coming home. The Hawaii leg was at least 6 hours alone. Maybe you'd be able to find a direct flight out of JFK?

I hope you checked the DVC board, it has lots of info on Aulani. It was really helpful prior to our trip last June.
