Booking Day by Day Question?

I am trying to book a trip at the 11 month mark for Nov 30 thru Dec 5. When I called this morning MS told me I could not book the 30th until Jan 2 since the checkout day is Dec 1. I am confused about booking at the 11th month mark. MS said you had the book the day you checkin on the day you check out. MS said I could not book the 30th until the 1st since it was the day we checked out. By the way MS told me this morning youll always be a day behind booking. Ex. Booking the 2nd on the 3rd etc. Can anyone explain the correct process to me?

You call 11 months from check-out date. If you were booking a 1 night stay arriving on 11/30, it would checkout on 12/1. When you add the night of 12/1, your new checkout would be 12/2.....

Since 11 months from 12/1 is 1/1 and member services is closed tomorrow, you would have to wait until Wednesday. You can also book the night of 12/1 (checking out 12/2) on Wednesday (1/2), Thursday you can book checkouts 12/3, Friday checkouts 12/4, Saturday checkouts 12/5. You always checkout the next morning of the night you stay.

I always peek at the DVC member site - it updates daily and tells you the dates you can book at home & non-home resorts. We booked a weird split stay reservation for June day-by-day and had to contend with Christmas Eve MS hours, Christmas MS closure, Saturday MS hours, and Sunday MS closure. Thought I might lose my mind it was so confusing - but God bless MS - they were always SUPER nice and helpful.

So now we are staying BWV with a board-walk view, then VB OVIR, then one night at BCV (the only resort I have not tried) on the way back home to Atlanta. Whew! It was worth all the day-by-day calling!

This sounds like my vacation.........except I ran out of points or I would've did BCV too! Wow, just can't beat the views!!
