Booking Cruises with Points

We are debating on booking a Disney Cruise to Alaska in 2011.

My question is...do I have to wait until I get my points to book??

I know there is a 24 Month Booking window. Ideally I would like to use all my 2010 points and some 2011.

Is this possible? Especially since I won't get my 2010 points until August 2010...never mind my 2011 point!

You can book as long as you are in the 24 month window.

There is no such thing as "waiting for points in your account" with DVC. All points for all use years from now until the end of your contract are already in your account.

You could bank your 2010 points in to 2011 and borrow your 2012 points in to 2011 to book a cruise in 2011 with 3 years worth of points, and it's only 2009 :-D
