Booking CONNECTING ROOMS online before reservations open to the public

I'm Silver and want to book two connecting rooms tomorrow. A friend is Gold and was trying to check some prices for me today but said the system wouldn't let her "add a stateroom." The screen said connecting rooms isn't available during the early booing period. Is my only option to call DCL directly tomorrow, then? Thanks.

In early booking, you can only book one room per member - whether connecting or not. If you have more silver members in your party, have them log into their account tomorrow and book the room connected to yours. Calling in won't relax the rule.

I think the issue is that you can only book one room per Castaway Club member. So if you are Gold, you log in and you can book one room. If there is another person that is Gold, they can login and book the connecting room. Same would apply for Silver - one room per Castaway Club member.

So to confirm, if I (silver) login to DCL tomorrow, I should have no problem booking a room in my name and a connecting room in my spouse’s name (also silver)? Thanks!

Got it, thanks. Yes, it’s me and my husband (both of us silver) and our kids. So I can’t just log in once and put hubby and I each in one of the connecting rooms? Instead, each of needs to log in separately and each book one of the rooms? Thanks for your help!

Yes, at least that's what I ended up doing. All of our family members are gold, and I ended up logging in as myself, putting a hold on one cabin, then logging in as my wife, and putting a hold on the connecting cabin. Then I paid the deposit on each, when I knew I had both.

I'm platinum and my husband is gold (platinum after this cruise). Due to placeholders, I had to call both days to reserve our connecting rooms. One call, (or booking online) is so much better!
