Booking.com

I have never used booking.com, but they offered a great rate at the Residence Inn where we plan to stay for an upcoming trip to DC. I reserved it, but I have still kept the not-quite-so-great rate through Marriott.com ($20 more per night). Should I have any concerns with booking.com? Can I confidently cancel the other reservation? Thanks!

I always use booking.com and I have not had a problem at all. We lived in Europe for the last 5 years and booked our trips every month just about using them. I have booked using them twice since we have been back since the summer and no problems. A lot of my friends have used it as well with no issues. Hope this can reassure you a little.

I have used several times and it has always worked well, no problems with the site and our trips were great.

If you ring direct, they will usually beat any internet offer. Another option to consider if you don't feel secure booking through a third party.
