Booking CC for 1st Week Dec. with some Transferred points.....

We own at Copper Creek and its been a few years since we've stayed there the first week of December. We are going first week Dec. '25 in a 1 Bedroom. I was hoping to find a CCV owner to transfer me some points so I can splurge on the 1 bedroom, but I know in the past when I made a booking with transferred points they did NOT show up on my dashboard. I had to wait until 9am to call and have MS make my booking so they could use the transferred points. Do I have a shot with transferred points at 9am for a CCV 1 bedroom for first week of December? I know CCV in December is crazy-I had to work last time to get my studio- but maybe 1 bedroom will be different? Any thoughts?

When I had transferred points, they showed up in my dashboard. They showed as a separate contract.

They should show up when you go to the screen where you pick the contracts you wish to use, and in what order. If not, book what you can with the points you own at 8 AM. Then call MS at 9 AM to add on the additional nights using the transferred points. As long as you can book that first night you will be able to have MS modify it to add the rest.

You may not have an issue to be concerned about. At 11-months out from Dec 1 CCV studios/2BR lock-offs tend to disappear right at 8 a.m., but in the past, including for Dec 1, 2024, the 1BRs have lasted more than long enough to book them through MS.

Thank you for the tip that's great news! I had points transferred back in 2022 so its been awhile. Happy to hear they show up and love the tip for booking what I can. I am short like 50 points (that's what I need transferred in) so I can get most of our trip booked with what I have in my contract.

Good to know! Yes, last time back in 2019 it was a struggle to get a studio.

if you transfer points into your account the points will not show up on your dashboard.

Furthermore with two exceptions the points will not be usable online and you need to call or chat to make a booking.

For the two exceptions where transferred points do work online:
1. If you already own a contract at CCV and receive more CCV points then you might be able to use them online at the 11 month - if not you still need to call or chat.
2. Transferred points are usable online when the 7 months window opens.
