Booking Both THV and BLT on FEB 8-Strategy

Good news is we can book!

Bad news is as owners of BLT and SSR, I need to book both hi demand reservations in the same call and hope I can get both!

BLT for NYE and THV for 4th of July

Anyone else need to get their priorities straight with the new announcement?

Probably need to book NYE first

Well...I think I am going to book my BLT December trip first, then on to my THV September trip. My Sept is going to be a combination of '08 points, '09 points and developer points, so it is going to be a mess.

We are going to have both our cell phones and land line dialing in. I wonder if we would blow up the system if we had two MS reps try to get into our account at the same time?

I dont think the old antique could take it! I have Developer Points too, but we have to wait to use those until Feb 22. They dont have home booking priority.

You are ahead of me, though. You've settled on when you want to make reservations. I keep thinking of all the possibilities and I can't make up my mind.

I already have 2 bedroom reservations. All I am going to have to do is change them to THV.

With everyone calling in at once I bet the phone lines will shut down and it will take hours to get through.

Check with MS re the developer points, we have some and I was told yesterday that because they could only be used at SSR that we could use home resort priority with them and call to book THV on 8th if we wanted to.

If that's the case, with all the developer points floating around, THV's might be hard for SSR members to get if every one with developer points can book too.

spoke to MS yesterday. My CM said that they will be getting training sessions starting today so that everyone has the same information on what is allowed for booking.

I spoke with MS yesterday ( we made our 1st DVC booking ) we booked a 2br at SSR for Aug - I was told that because they were DP's we could call Feb22 to try for THV.

If anyone finds out about the Developer points please post. I dont think they would let us use them, but with DVC, who knows

I was told no DP could be used for THV. On top of that, when I called MS this am they said that the Aug. 4 "BLT opening" has not yet been confirmed. Looking forward to having all MS-CMs on the same (accurate) page!

Here i was hoping to join my DH at church - now I am not so sure that is going to happen. Does anyone have any idea why Member Services would shoot themselves in the foot and have both bookings begin on the same day?

I also plan to use both my landline and cell phone for my THV December booking. Good thing we all have free weekends on our cell phones
