booking Blue bayou restaurant question

I'm not sure how it works with a party of six, but every time I have made an 11:30 (first of the day) reservation, I arrive by at least 11:15 and request a water table. The last 3 times, when I request the water side table, the hostess has told me the 11:30 reservations all get a waterside table. I will keep making 11:30 reservations and keep requesting a waterside table. My luck, the one time I don't they will not seat me there.
That is exactly what they told me. I messed up and did a 11:45 ADR and was told no waterside tables available for at least 45 minutes. When we went in (did not wait) there were a couple of waterside tables open but they were held for those 11:30 ADRs.

When are you going? We have a reservation on the 20th for a late lunch and I want to request waterside for our group of 6. I’ve never seen bigger tables by the water, so I wasn’t sure either. I’d love to hear how it goes for you!

We have never eaten here and this trip just my husband and I are going to try it out while the kids occupy themselves elsewhere - how much nicer is it to eat by the water? It looks incredibly dark from the ride but that just might be a bad perspective. Is it easier to get a water side table the smaller your party - as that seems to be what comments indicate.
