Booking Aulani

How difficult will it be to book Aulani end of May or beginning of June (2016)? Thanks

The end of May should be easy at the 7 month mark. June sometimes can be tricky since it is very popular with DVC members since the point cost is lower and the kids are out of school. But it is doable. It helps to be flexible on your view type and dates. If you want a standard view villa you will probably be shut out by Aulani owners. You might be able to get the new standard view hotel rooms without any problem. The easiest villas to get are pool/garden and ocean view. I would suggest booking exactly at the 7 month mark on the dot.

We booked the end of May into June at the 7 month window no issues with almost every room type and view available. Should OK. This year at 7 month we booked September and I found the selection far less that May

We booked for February at the seven month window with no issue, but when we checked back a few days later, most everything was booked or partially booked.
Glad we booked right at the 7 month mark and suggest you do the same.

What about end of June or second week in July booking at 7 months? I know it is a guess but wondering what others encountered. We would be looking for a two bedroom ocean view.

At that point your more into full blown summer which is absolute peak season for all of Hawaii.

We know that dilemma only too well as this was our very first non summer peak season vacation in SO MANY years as youngest son graduated hs end of May and we headed to Aulani May 27th. Yes, there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, lol! No standard 2br available exactly at 7 MOS only pool v July view. Waitlisted for island view and happily it came through. Make sure that you book at 8am EXACTLY at 7 mos and in summer maybe will have to book ocean view and wait list 2 other categories. BEST of luck and hope that you ENJOY! We had a BLAST!

This is our last year being tied to a primary school scheduled. fall of 2015 both will be in college, 1 first year and 1 last year. so we can start traveling in May which is my favorite month to travel

I just rented out two reservations through David's rental..August and November.. seemed to have lots of availability..
