Booking at 7 months with one time use points?

I will need to purchase a few one time use points for my next reservation. I know I need to do that over the phone. Is my best bet to book the nights I can online at 8 am and then call at 9am for the rest of the reservation? Will they let me do that or will my 7 month window change to a new date for the other nights?

I would do it that way - book what you can online and then call MS to finish up the reservation. Buying OTU points should not change the booking window (assuming you are trying to get sequential nights) and MS can complete the reservation for you when you call.

Thanks! Yes, it is sequential nights. I have only had to buy OTU points one other time and I don't remember how I handled it then.
